It seems the definition of advertising is becoming broader and broader. Tim Nudd from ADWEEK reported recently that the Activia subtly positioned brand messaging music video (notice all the happy smiles on stomachs) “La, la,la” has now outdone VW’s legendary Darth Vader TVC 5,409,192 to 5,254,667.
Even though both were linked to sporting events (SuperBowl & WorldCup), I am not sure whether that is an even playing field.
